Remembering NJV

Things I miss:  LaMonica (our personal jokes), my customers, our seasonal photoshoots, Monie's eye for rare finds, our Muslim neighborhood, our eclectic decor, Mone, girl talk with random customers, and the great networking the store brings.

As you all know Not Just Vintage has been my baby for the past 21/2 years, which has been the catalyst of my growth and development over the past few years. I was on a journey to build my dream of owning and operating a unique boutique in Brooklyn, that would be the start of my business empire.

What i first intended for the business is not what God had in mind for this experience. As the venture prevailed I learned never to falter on what I believe, neva to waiver on my principles, I learned who I was, my strengths & weaknesses, making mistakes are totally natural, how to work with regit personalities, that God is master of all, I learned never to run from challenges or opportunities out of fear, the list goes on and on.

My God, I thank you for this journey for every second of it, the good and the hard times were all stepping stone that I needed to go to the next level.

NJV I love you with all my heart, show mamma proud by staying true to your core principals of positivity, and showing black women in a positive light, we are the true trendsetters. NJV is the best vintage spot in BK....Holler
