Actions Speaks Louder

In these past couple of years gun
violence has become a serious issue in our paradise home. It seems like at
least once a month there’s another offense involving a firearm being reported.
As citizen’s we are quick to blame the police for not doing their job
correctly. While I feel that the Police Force does have a lot to work on, they
are not the only one’s that are to blame for continuing violence. We as
citizens also need to hold ourselves responsible for the way our country is
going. If we don’t stand up to the perpetrators we are telling them that they
can continue doing what they are doing. We need to stand up and not be afraid
to report what we witness, form neighborhood watches. It’s not enough to just
talk about what’s not being done; we must also stand up and do it.
