Inna Heights & Fatimaya Grand Opening

Saturday, July 2, Inner Heights and Fatimaya held the official launch
party for their new location. This event was not to be missed.
The lovely Candace
graced the crowd with her amazing vocals as she got the crowd warmed up
for the sidewalk fashion show. The fashion show was the highlight of
the day. Models were decked head to toe in clothing and accessories from
the Fatimaya store. They ripped the runway as they marched right out of
the store, onto the road, and down the sidewalk. There was also a great
performance by up and coming rapper Kombat, who along with his counterpart Suede Green,
shared his conscious tunes with the crowd as well as those driving by.
Other performances included dances by the Bermuda Squad dance team as
well as an on the spot performance by King Somner, proprietor of Inna
Heights. The DJ for the day was non-other than Flava of Natural Movement Radio.
All
through out the day customers we able to shop at the store as well as
bid on the clothes from the fashion show in a silent auction. Although
the crowd seemed small at times, the event turned out to be a success
and is hoped to be the first of many.
Inna
Heights, a new store located on Court Street has recently opened up its
doors. They sell everything from clothes, to incense and oils, massage therapy and they even have a selection of DVD's and CD's.
